We caught the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo. The sight of St Malo's medieval citadel on arrival the following morning was hidden from view by the sea mist.

31 August

We made our our way south to Chez Farley located in the Gulf of Morbian 
where we were treated to the local delights of La Trinite sur Mer.

Perhaps La Trinite's major claim to fame is as a sailing mecca for monster trimaran yachts that have been built with the sole purpose of breaking most of the world sailing records.
