Ait Ben Haddou is a UNESCO world heritage site but it is also the most celebrated film set in Morocco and featured in Lawrence of Arabia, Sheltering Sky, Jewel of the Nile and Gladiator just to name a few, according to our guide the locals love Russell Crowe and his portrait is allegedly hung in many of the Kasbah houses.

Here's a factoid; a Kasbah is a fortified fortress with four towers, a Kasbir is when there are multiple Kasbahs.
