Wednesday 7 October
A long day on the road from Aglou Plage to Marrakesh

Taking the easy way over the Atlas

Off the motorway conditions

and across the desert plain to our Marrakesh campsite, this is the first campsite we have stayed at in Morocco that has a bar, it also has a pool, a double luxury oasis.

Journey's end poolside

Thursday 9 October
A big day out in Marrakesh, first stop on the way into town was the Jardin Majorelle, a most unusual garden of exotic plants and rare species from around the world.

Cacti from around the world

Leaving behind the tranquility we hit Djemaa El Fna square and it hit us, this live action theatre/circus the polar opposite of tranquility, with its snake charmers, drum bangers, food stalls and adjacent souks might be best described as a liveliest place in Morocco with something for everyone to enjoy.
